Dubai to Abu Dhabi Private Taxi

Dubai to Abu Dhabi Private Taxi and Other Trips Beyond the City, With One Driver

Leaving Dubai by taxi is a different job from crossing it. The distance is longer, the return matters, and nobody wants to negotiate either at the kerb. Our Dubai to Abu Dhabi private taxi service, and the runs to Sharjah, Ajman, and Al Ain, are planned before you leave, with a driver you’ve already spoken to and a car that fits the whole family.

Each destination is a different trip

Don’t treat these four as the same ride with a different name on it.

Abu Dhabi is the long, steady one. It’s mostly Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), and a clear run is about 90 minutes. The planning is about your appointment, not the road.

Sharjah and Ajman look short on a map and surprise people. The distance is small, but the morning and evening traffic on the roads between Dubai and Sharjah can double a trip. Time of day decides everything here.

Al Ain is the longest of the four. The road is quieter, and you’ll want to leave time for the journey and a comfortable return.

Tell us where, when, and how many people, and we’ll say honestly how long to allow.

A family of five, a morning in Abu Dhabi

Picture a family in Dubai Marina heading to Abu Dhabi for a 10 a.m. appointment, planning to be home by evening. The trip isn’t the hard part. The decision is how the day ends: does the driver wait, or do you message him when you’re finished? Settle that when you book. With a bus or an app, you book a second ride in a city where you don’t know the pickup spots. With us, the return is part of the plan from the start.

One way or return

You can book either. A one-way trip suits a move, a flight from Abu Dhabi, or a one-night stay. An Abu Dhabi return taxi from Dubai suits a day trip, a hospital visit, or a meeting. For a return, tell us how you want the second leg to work: a fixed time, or a message from you when you’re done. Waiting is agreed with you when we confirm the booking, before you travel, and our terms and conditions explain how the cancellation rule works.

Sharjah, Ajman,
and the daily
crossers

Some people cross the border every day. If you live in Sharjah and work in Dubai, or the other way round, a Sharjah to Dubai private taxi works best as a routine, not a one-off. The same driver, the same time, and the same pickup remove the part of the morning you can’t control. The same goes for an Ajman taxi from Dubai, whether you’re visiting family or heading to a shop. If you do it every week, look at the monthly taxi service.

How long a taxi from Dubai to Abu Dhabi take?

About 90 minutes in clear conditions, from most parts of Dubai. That’s the honest baseline, and it grows with traffic, especially if you leave from Deira or Mirdif at rush hour, or hit the Dubai side of the road on a Friday afternoon. For a fixed appointment, don’t plan on the clear-road number. Tell us your arrival time, and we’ll work backwards with a margin.

What to send when you book

Message 052 429 9779 on WhatsApp with:

  • Your pickup area in Dubai
  • The destination: Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, or Al Ain, with the exact address if you have it
  • The date and the time you need to arrive
  • One way or return, and how the second leg should work
  • Number of passengers and bags

We reply to confirm the ride and agree the price before you travel.

Al Ain: a private taxi or the bus?

The bus is cheaper for one person with one bag, and nothing we say changes that. A private taxi starts to win when there’s more than one of you, when you have luggage, or when the bus times don’t fit your day. A Dubai to Al Ain taxi also takes you from your door to the exact address, which matters at the other end. If you’re travelling alone, light, and on a flexible day, take the bus. If not, message us.

Picked us up from DXB on time with four suitcases and two kids. The 7-seater SUV had plenty of space, and the ride was smooth and comfortable.

He has done our children’s school run every morning for months. Always punctual, polite, and careful. I feel completely at ease knowing the kids are with him.

Space for the whole group

Every trip runs in a 7-seater SUV, so a family, a group of friends, or colleagues going to the same meeting fit in one car with their bags. Long drives are easier with room to stretch, and you won’t need two cars. See the vehicle on our fleet page. If a child needs a car seat, bring your own, because we don’t supply them. Some routes pass Salik gates and other tolls, and we’ll tell you how they’re handled when we agree the price.

Intercity questions we get asked

How long does a taxi from Dubai to Abu Dhabi take?

About 90 minutes on a clear road. Traffic, the time of day, and your starting area change it, so tell us your arrival time and we’ll plan the departure with a margin.

Yes, we can arrange it. Tell us how long you expect to be and whether you want a fixed pickup time or a message when you’re ready. We agree how the waiting works before you travel.

For one person with light luggage, the bus is cheaper. For a family, a group, or anyone carrying bags, a private taxi is easier, and it takes you door to door.
